每周三句话，搞定阅读长难句！

对于雅思阅读这门考试来说，单词量是众所周知的核心。但是得单词者一定得天下？呵呵呵还是too young too simple了吧！以15年的一个学生为例，他的词汇量在8000以上，阅读题干中很少出现生词，但是第一次却只考到了5.5的阅读分数，与个人能力实在是不对应。大家一定都在想：这不科学！在经过了一对一课堂的分析之后，我发现该学生在读文章的时候，单词虽然基本都认知，但一句话到底什么意思，他总能前后颠倒，出入甚大。这就是说，他目前最大的穴：长难句的分析。只有把单词量和长难句的分析同时搞定，才能提高阅读速度，提高正确率，顺利破7哦！

废话少说，今天的长难句：（建议大家先自行分析，然后看解析，对照自己的错误之处）

1.Johnson was a poet and critic who raised common sense to the heights of genius. (C5T1P1)

结构分析：这个句子是主从复合句，主句Johnson was a poet and critic 为主系表结构。从句由who引导的定语从句who raised common sense to the heights of genius构成，该从句用来修饰先行词a poet and critic。

2.In the time when dinosaurs dominated the daytime economy, our mammalian ancestors probably only managed to survive at all because they found ways of scraping a living at night. (C7T1P1)

结构分析：句子主干为：our mammalian ancestors probably only managed to survive at all。居首出现的In the time作时间状语，when dinosaurs dominated the daytime economy是由when引导的定语从句，修饰time，在这个定语从句中，dinosaurs是主语，dominated是谓语，the daytime economy是宾语。后边because引导的原因状语从句中，they是主语，found是谓语，ways是宾语，后边of scraping a living at night是介词短语作后置定语修饰前边的名词ways.

3.The Council, which was founded in 1996, certifies fisheries that meet high environmental standards, enabling them to use a label that recognizes their environmental responsibility. (C7T4P2)

结构分析： 本句的主干部分是the Council certifies fisheries. 主语the Council 由which 引导的非限制性定语从句来修饰，引导词which在该定从中作主语。句中that引导的限制性定语从句that meet high environmental standards用来修饰先行词fisheries.

enabling them to use a label that recognizes their environmental responsibility 是动词的现在分词作伴随状语的用法。在该伴随状语中，that recognizes their environmental responsibility是that引导的定语从句修饰先行词a label.

雅思考试中类似这种从句套从句的情况非常多，大家一定要学会先抓主干，再逐次分析其他从句。
