In this passage, the author uses theexamples of a book and a lecture to illustrate that
A. both of these areimportant for developing concentration.
B. his theory aboutmethods of learning is valid.
C. reading is a bettertechnique for learning than listening.
D. we can remember thingsmore easily under hypnosis
Lozanov's instructional technique is based on the evidence that theconnections made in the brain through unconscious processing (which he callsnon-specific mental reactivity) are more durable than those made throughconscious processing. Besides the laboratory evidence for this, we know fromour experience that we often remember what we have perceived peripherally, longafter we have forgotten what we set out to learn. If we think of a book westudied months or years ago, we will find it easier to recall peripheraldetails-the color, the binding, the typeface, the table at the library where wesat while studying it一than the content on which we wereconcentrating. If we think of a lecture we listened to with greatconcentration, we will recall the lecturer’s appearanceand mannerisms, our place in the auditorium, the failure of theair-conditioning, much more easily than the ideas we went to learn. Even ifthese peripheral details are a bit elusive, they come back readily in hypnosisor when we relive the event 。imaginatively, as inpsychodrama. The details o}the content of the lecture, on. the other hand, seemto have gone forever.
Lozanov's instructional technique is based on the evidence that。
